Floor lamp _Tomo_by Japanese designer Toshiyuki Kita for Luci, 1985.
As indicated in 1985 in an advertisement by Luci (translated from Italian): "Floor lamp adjustable in height and adjustable in all directions. Halogen bulb of maximum 500 W with dimmer." The minimum height of the lamp is 138 cm / 55 inch and the maximum height 157 cm / 62 inch.
The lamp was produced in various colours. This version is white and black with a red plastic ball at the end of the rotatable, black powder coated arm.
The condition of the lamp is very good, with some slight traces of use. The lamp still has the plastic protective layer that is attached under the cream shade. The on/off switch and dimmer is housed along the electrical cord.
Toshiyuki Kita also created a matching wall lamp using the lacquered metal shade. He is more widely acknowledged for the reclinable Wink chair he designed for Cassina in 1980.
