Luigi Massoni and Luciano Buttura designed this _Conchiglia_ desk lamp for Harvey Guzzini in 1968.

This surprising example of design has a metal structure that holds the Plexiglas shade and conceals the wire.

With its (rare) removable plastic base that can function for small stationary, _Conchiglia_ was originally destined for office usage.

A set of these desk lamps, and especially when both contain the removable plastic base, is rare. It is only available as a set.

Harvey Guzzini produced the lamp from 1968 until 1980.

The height of the lamp is 40 cm / 16 inch and the diameter 35 cm / 14 inch. The colour of the lamp is white.
