Swedish-born architect and designer Greta Magnusson Grossman (1906-1999) designed this striking table lamp in 1948. Recalling the crisply crimped legs of its insect namesake, the Gräshoppa's tubular brass stand is mounted on a circular brass base. The elongated, conical shade of powder-coated steel is mounted with a movable joint in solid brass, allowing for a directional light with minimal glare. This authentic Grossman lamp was manufactured by Gubi to the designer's original specifications.
