British designer Tom Dixon, whose work is featured in MoMA's collection, reimagines the light fixture with this pentagonal globe that's inspired by the Fresnel lens, used in lighthouses to concentrate and cast light over long distances. As twelve components are subdivided into five prismatic triangular lenses, it sends light shooting in all directions. With a look that evokes, alternately, science fiction and natural crystals, this pendant light transforms the space it's in. This pendant requires one 60W bulb (not included).
