Piet Hein Eek's Waste Coffeecube is a truly solid object, made up entirely of small scraps of artfully stacked wood, the simplicity of the design highlights the scrapwood material. This coffeecube is only available in a high gloss lacquered version.

The Waste CoffeeCube is produced with a high gloss finish, which is achieved from the application of over ten coats of a water-based lacquer, or two to three coats of the same lacquer for a smooth, matte finish.
