In designing the Crisis series, Piet Hein Eek set himself the challenge of using cheap material to produce a good design. The material used is underlayment. The Crisis junior bed is available in an unlacquered version as well as in four colours:
white RAL 9001, pink Sikkens B2.05.70, blue/grey Sikkens S0.10.60, and green/grey Sikkens N0.05.65.

The Crisis junior bed is only available in one size. Optionally, the bed can be delivered complete with a mattress.
