In designing the Crisis series, Piet Hein Eek set himself the challenge of using cheap material to produce a good design. The material used is underlayment. The Crisis child’s cupboard is available in an unlacquered version as well as in four colours: white Ral 9001, pink Sikkens B2.05.70, blue/grey Sikkens S0.10.60 and green/grey Sikkens N0.05.65.
