Having grown up in Australia, designer Brodie Neill has always gravitated towards natural forms and how they can be recast as functional design. One of his most recognizable designs is The Cowrie Collection - comprising a Rocker and Chair - each inspired by the curvilinear form of a seashell.

The piece's organic shape is the result of extensive research and technical innovation, which, true to Made in Ratio's studio philosophy, bridges the handmade with the digital. Each perfectly proportioned piece is made with Ash faced plywood with either a natural or ebonized finish. The result: an arresting piece of usable art that doubles as an elegant rocking lounger or reliable easy chair.
