The Contrepoids Table, part of a limited edition collection, is a combination of the traditional know-hows of hammered metal and contemporary design. These tables refer to the tradition of the French decorative arts, twisted with an industrial touch typical of the work of studio POOL. They are the fruit of the collaboration between design critic and curator Cédric Morisset and POOL, who like mixing inspirations from the 80's, "haute facture", craftsmanship, in a joyful and ironical universe.
