Belleville is the name of the bustling district of Paris where the designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have their studios. The chairs are inspired by the classic French bistro furniture.

The Belleville Chair is a technically advanced plastic chair which is made up of two parts: a frame and a seat. Since the seat, the appearance of the Belleville Chair determines it is available in colored polypropylene, and formed veneered plywood or with a coating of leather or textiles.

The Belleville Chair and Armchair with plastic seat shells are also suitable for outdoor use.
