### DESCRIPTION

A very rare hat trunk by Louis Vuitton, made in France around 1930\. The trunk opens to reveal a removable tray for two top hats and underneath the space for a further three top hats. Of wonderful proportions, this trunk is a superb example of an early 20th century Louis Vuitton hat trunk in the world famous monogrammed LV canvas. Complete with all its interior tray, this unusually sized trunk is in excellent condition and harks back to times of passenger ships and 1st class travel of bygone eras.

A wonderful conversation piece that would make a welcome addition to any home, both modern or traditional. The stencil work to the front bears the name of a previous owner.
