Wakatsuru Sunshine 1990 Single Malt Whisky is a limited edition of 25-year-old single malt from the little known Wakatsuru Shuzou distillery in Toyama. An on-again-off-again producer when it comes to single malt, they have released a very small amount stock in recent years. Though stocks are sparse, Wakatsuru’s own single malt are known to have citrusy, malty notes and at 59% ABV this should be quite thick, perhaps with a hint of smoke. SUNSHINE 1990 single malt whisky is made from from cask number 311 & 315, and aged over 25 years, (1990-2015). - This particular bottling comes in a 720ml ceramic bottle with wooden gift box.
