**Whisky Shop Tasting Notes:**
Nose- candy floss sweetness mixed with bees wax suddenly give way to more mature and rustic aromas, ancient leather, dusty attics and engine oil with some crushed walnut and fresh pine adding to it's complexity.
Taste- honeyed flavours combine with wood spice and a herbal and savoury quality, cobnuts and popcorn lead to a finish of over ripened fruits, peach stone, toasted cereals and poppy seed.
**Gustave Flaubert** Born in France in 1821, Gustave Flaubert was a leading proponent of literary realism - an ethos which he carried into his personal aesthetic. Devoted to a life devoid of the inexact, abstract or clichéd, Flaubert was known for the painstaking process of writing and revision which he dedicated to every creation "trying to write harmonious sentences avoiding assonances". Famed for his first published novel, Madame Bouvary, he was always seeking "le mot juste" (the right word) for every sentiment.
