This 36 year old Kinclaith was distilled in 1969 and bottled 36 years later. Only 152 bottles where produced making this a very rare bottling of a very rare producer.

The Kinclaith, founded in 1958, was the last Malt whisky still built in Glasgow, within the Strathclyde Grain distillery complex. The Kinclaith distillery was closed in 1975 to provide more space for Strathclyde. During the 18 years Kinclaith operated the distillery mainly produced for Long Johns blended Scotch. Official bottles where never released, a handfull of independent bottles are all what's left.
