The Hanyu distillery was situated in Hanyu City, north-west of Tokyo, and originates from a sake-making operation, ran by the Akuto family. It sadly went out of business in 2000; however, its remaining stock remains highly coveted. This bottle is another single cask, malt from Hanyu was released to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of No.1 Drinks Company. Distilled in 2000, was matured in Cask #359 before being bottled this 2016.
