Back in 1775 the world was a very different place, but in a certain valley in Perthshire barley was being distilled much as it is now. Glenturret is now home to the Famous Grouse blend - one of the biggest whisky brands in world - but back in those days, the valley helped hide the light from a tiny illicit operation!

Tasting notes:

Nose: Apple and blackcurrant crumble, gooseberries and raw honey.
Palate: Autumn fruit pie, Demerara and fragrant oak.
Finish: Fruit and oak in harmony.
