Very top shoulder. The second wine of Chateau Lafite Rothschild has, rightly, an excellent reputation. Aged in barrels that contained the previous vintage of Chateau Lafite, the wine shows incredible concentration. The aromatic complexity is great. Very tannic in its youth, the wine has an impressive field for a long cellaring. This wine can be compared to many classified growths of the Medoc.
