The piano « Parallele » : Special series created fromthe original model brown and turquoise. Baby grand piano – P170 model. This piano symbolises the mix of music and design, the instrument’s acoustic subtlety and its graphic beauty. Seen from a far, the Parallel piano, atop its altuglas legs, appears suspended in space, as if supported by its lyre alone. The parallel stripes in glossy and matt cacao brown create a musical stave, a sort of dreamlike score winding around the piano’s body. Close up, the piano’s interior is a hypnotic red vermilion, down to the smallest detail: the underside of the lid, the cast-‐iron structure, the sounding board, the bridges, and even the string felts and dampers.
