This perfect five-inch fossil shark tooth (_Carcharocles megalodon_) is from South Carolina.

_Megalodon_ was the largest predatory fish to ever swim the oceans. Astonishingly, _Megalodon_ bite marks have been found in whale bones. Scientists estimate that _Megalodon_ measured 10 feet for every inch of shark tooth length. This monster probably measured about 50 feet long!
