This wonderfully preserved fossil grasshopper was found in the world-famous Crato Formation, near Ceara, Brazil. It dates back to the Lower Cretaceous Period - 110 million years ago. The level of detail is excellent and there is absolutely no restoration.

Measures 0.8 inches (2 cm). Matrix is 4.4 inch (11.2 cm) long.
