A Fabergé ruby, diamond, enamel and gold brooch, the marquise shaped brooch with the Russian Imperial eagles motif in rose-cut diamonds on silver on an white coloured guilloché enamel background, with a yellow gold border with carved laurel design, set to the top, bottom and sides with a single round ruby, all mounted on red gold with the Russian marks for fourteen carat gold, stamped AH, August Holmstrom, St Petersburg 1898 - 1908, overall dimensions approximately 30 x 30mm, gross weight 10.8 grams.
