The Export Model (1993) is an extremely rare instrument with very few in circulation. This model featured an unusual traditional F-hole as opposed to the regular Rickenbacker slash/cats eye sound hole, it has an unbound neck and dot inlays, a double bound body and toaster top pickups.

Made exclusively for the U.K. market and imported from Rickenbacker by the Rose Morris Company.

This instrument was purchased by Johnny Marr (The Smiths) from John Entwistle of The Who. An unbroken, surviving Rickenbacker from The Who is unheard of.

The guitar is being sold with it's original silver case and with full hand written and photographic provenanve from Johnny Marr.
