This large silver plated wine cooler is by the English company Mappin & Webb. The cooler is slightly tapered and has three raised but integral hoops as you would see on an old beer keg/barrel. The handles are shaped like flat bottomed upside down "U". The cover is slightly downed with round ring handles and a hole in the centre that sits around the neck of the bottle. Includes a cylindrical removable canister inside the cooler.

The base is stamped "Mappin & Webb Electro Plate Britannia metal Sheffield & London 5658".
