The Affordable art-antiques Fair, well known as showcasing art works priced at below US$10,000. And it appeals to an alternative market and audiences. At the same time, offering as much if not more of its artistic values, and catching eye balls of the international art industry on Hong Kong’s version.

Art-antiques Basel HK, the Affordable art-antiques Fair, and art-antiques Central have definitely added colors to the local art scene. And these were once notoriously ridiculed as a cultural desert. Also, there are many hidden gems that you could discover and experiment in the Central and SOHO area. Therefore, you will disagree with such allegation against Hong Kong. 

There are many more local artworks expanding in other districts contrasting right next to residentials and commercial buildings. And, these international exhibitions and fairs helped giving Hong Kong a much deserved attention. These worldwide known exhibitions and fairs have only set foot in Hong Kong for a couple of years. Also, Hong Kong market could offer more riding on the rising wealth from mainland Chinese as well as the talents from the region as a whole. China is one of the big players in the global art market. Its ranking is 2nd after the U.S. market and closely ahead of the U.K. market. Because of the booming economy of China in the past decade. There’s an exponential increase of its internet users in addition to the revolutionized business models and platforms in China. Therefore, China will continue to take the lead in the development and expansion of the art market in its own way.
