Just when we thought we had seen it all in the car industry, the Frankfurt Auto Show slaps the idea on our faces. The level of ingenuity from mega automakers such as Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Lamborghini, BMW, and Bentley among others was insane. The features and designs of the car were like watching Si-Fi movies. Something was outstanding in each category from hypercars, electric vehicles, or SUVs.

However, some cars changed all our perceptions in the cars industry. The sleek designs, technology, and brilliance behind these cars are worth talking about. Here are some of the game-changing cars that were showcased at Frankfurt Auto Show:

Mercedes-Benz AMG Project One hypercar

The pure F1 technology used in this road legal race car is amazing. The aerodynamics and the engine technology is what took the front stage for this hybrid race car. The powertrain incorporates turbocharged V-6 engine that is complimented by v four electric motors. The motors are mounted on both the front and rear wheel. The engine efficiency is 43% which is groundbreaking. In addition, this hypercar has different driving modes that will be customized according to the owner’s preference.

The Ferrari’s Portofino

The elegance, sportiness, and comfort behind this convertible are on fleek. This new V8 GT is the official replacement of the Ferrari California T. The Ferrari bosses claim that the Portofino is much lighter and stiffer than its predecessor, the Ferrari California T. A 591-hp dual-turbocharged 3.9-liter V-8 powers this toy on the road which enables it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in a whopping 3.5 seconds. Besides, the steering system is electrically assisted, and it has an advanced magnetorheological adaptive-damping technology.

The Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster

The Aventador S Roadster made its debut on the glamorous show, and it took everyone by surprise with its hi-tech ingenuity. Although most of its features are similar to the Coupe, the styling is different and fresh. There is optional transparent engine cabornfibre shell for those who want to see the V12 doing its thing.

The BMW X7

BMW also made its mark on the Frankfurt Auto Show with the BMW X7. This SUV is characterized by sleek interior design and high-quality material. The vast panoramic roof allows a natural flow of light that make the interior appear bigger and add a great sense of elegance and comfort. Also, the BMW X7 by TwinPower turbo petrol engine complemented by electric motors.

Bentley Continental GT

Bentley is reputable for its magnificent style and royal comfort. The Bentley Continental GT was premiered at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Also,  it is a complete game changer. This car has a gorgeous chassis that sits on a 6.0-litre W12 engine that produces a top speed of 207 mph. It has an elaborate smooth 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that picks its toy from zero to 60 mph within 3.6 seconds. Also, the 48V Active Roll Control system of the Continental GT that will sense the road status and the car will smoothly change the drive mode for ease handling.
