Blown glass centre piece by Kate Jones at Gillies Jones. Unique piece. Gillies Jones established their partnership in 1995 with a shared passion to explore blown art glass. Works are created with Stephen Gillies as the glass maker and Kate Jones as the ‘painter’. However rather than employing a brush and paint, Jones cuts and engraves the thin bowls glass surface, embellishing each blown form with highly detailed patterns and textures.
