Set in an unknown time and place, Jaylo incorporates seemingly unrelated objects such as an hourglass, fishbowl, and hot air balloons to surround a young boy, who is known to collectors as the artist's son, wearing a top hat. With his Cheshire Cat grin, the result is an experiential piece of work a la Lewis Carroll through the looking glass that transports viewers into Jaylo's parallel, and enigmatic universe.
