Antique French painting of the second half of the 19th century. Work oil on canvas, in the first canvas, depicting "The Faust" a copy of the famous painting by the painter Ary Scheffer (1795-1858). Framework of great measure and impact, of excellent pictorial quality. Early 20th century wooden and plaster frame, decorated with vine leaves, of beautiful decoration. The frame has small lacks of decoration. Work presenting some signs of conservative restorations in the lower part. In good condition, with some signs of the time. Sight size: H 120 x W 88.5 cm.
