The wardrobe has an arched pediment, with a large arched mirror to the centre, flanked by paneled doors opening to reveal ample hanging space above a single drawer. The wardrobe stands on a plinth base and is in good condition for its age, with minor wear commensurate with age and use. I also have the matching dressing table for this wardrobe available.

John Manuel is listed in White's Directory of Sheffield for 1852, where he is listed as a Cabinet Maker and Upholsterer of 87 Devonshire Street.
