For sale is a good quality Victorian Burr Walnut Pedestal Desk. The top of the desk has a leather hide insert, hand dyed a "antique tobacco" colour with decorative gold and blind tooling. Below this the top has three drawers, each having turned handles as well as banding and inlay to the edge of each drawer. The top fits onto two pedestals, each with three matching graduated drawers. The external sides of each pedestal are nicely paneled, as well as the back, standing on plinth bases. The desk is in very good condition having been completely restored and re-finished using traditional methods.
