US$12,385.30 This is an incredible and rare pair of antique ebonised, ormolu and Sevres porcelain mounted, cut brass inlaid credenzas with marmo nero marble tops, circa 1860 in date. They have fabulous ormolu mounts bordered with cut brass inlaid lines and inset with sixteen Sevres porcelain plaques depicting courting couples and floral foliate sprays. The central door of each credenza is flanked by an impressive pair of brass inlaid ebonised Corinthian columns with ormolu capitelli, and each door has a large oval Sevres porcelain plaque depicting courting couples set in a fabulous gilded ormolu mount, there are four further plaques on each door as well as three further plaques set in the frieze of each cabinet. The bow glazed side doors of each cabinet each enclose two shelves to display your collectables. The credenzas stand on plinth bases with short turned tapered feet and each is surmounted with a fabulous marble top. Each with working locks and original keys. This gorgeous pair will get noticed wherever they are placed. Condition: In excellent condition having been beautifully restored in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
