Vintage German Busche 10x80 Binoculars On Stand c.1940
US$5,690.54 This is a stunning and highly decorative Second World War German made Emil Busch observation binoculars for spotting aircraft and directing searchlights and AA guns. They bear the German military code CXN, for Emil Busch AG, Optische Industrie, Rathencow, the manufacturer. Used by German anti-aircraft batteries for spotting aircraft in WWII the 10x80 Flak Binoculars had a very wide field of view and the lenses are inclined at 45 degrees for easy viewing. They are made from steel which has been professionally polished and are mounted on a polished steel military telescopic tripod which is fully adjustable. The model is suitable for both day and night time observation and the direction of line of fire from artillery. The optics are of great quality and the various dials are in working order. Fully restored and in perfect working order they will make an incredible statement in your home.
