Colinet worked in ivory, bronze and chryselephantine, as did most other sculptors of the time. Colinet regularly incorporated theatrical themes into her sculptors, especially with her dancers. Colinet's sculptures were not stoic and frozen, but were full-figured and energised with strong impressions while being dynamically posed. Colinet's sculptures were exhibited at the Parisian Salons from 1913 through 1940.
