Pair of solid mahogany armchairs with upholstered seat, carved and shaped arms ending with a curl and finely carved backrest with two crosspieces. They are supported by 4 legs of which the front ones are turned. The taste and proportions recall the great cabinet-maker Enrico Peter, who opened his furniture shop in Genoa in ca. 1835, combining the typical English taste for wood and proportions with the Italian taste. His pieces of furniture are made with great skill and with very accurate work of cabinet-making.Size: 60 x 50, height 97 cm.
