This is a pair of Chinese mahogany chairs dating to the mid-20th century.


- Exceptional quality as one would expect from George Zee and Co, this pair of chairs are fashioned in the traditional style in the best quality timber to the highest standard.

- Raised on square section legs with typical in-turned toes the subtly shaped seat rails support the solid seat panel. Removable cushions in complimentary tones supplied.

- The glorious horseshoe armrests extend in a continuous sweep and arc downwards from the crest rail terminating in a blacksmith's pinch. The arms are supported by rests extending from the rear corners giving stability whilst offering visual appeal and adding interest to the form.

- The back splat in perfect proportions gently curves for comfort and features a lined pierced fret to the upper section.
