This unglazed, painted pottery figure represents a warrior figure of the Northern Wei period. The figure holds a shield which is detachable. The warrior wears a helmet and an armour suit with a geometric pattern on the front chest and on the arms. Period : Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534 A.D.) Size : H. 35 cm
