Oak wooden chest, Dutch or German, 17th century

US$768.70

Also called Stollen Truhe. These chests with those typical wide styles were seen in both countries. Fortunately, this chest is not stained dark brown in the 1970s, it has its natural colour. Quarter-carved oak, so that you can see the 'mirrors'. The document bench in the chest is also still present. Restoration at the back, the left style is a bit damaged. See photo. Hinges and lock plate are original. No longer with lock. Small clamps were once attached to the edges of the side edges; they are no longer there. Wide 140 cm, high 80 cm, deep 60 cm.
