French pendulum, tower model with silver-coloured ornamental ironwork around and Fleur-de-lis ornaments. Text on top of the dial 'Je sonne la bonne heure', with a lion with a French coat of arms above of it.At the front are two yellow copper ring-shaped dials, the top one is engraved with Roman numerals, behind the dial is a moon that moves with it; the bottom dial is engraved with the names of the months and the numbers 1–30 to indicate the date, both dials have steel hands.The two sides each have 2 green-coloured glass panels, the back has a hinged wooden door. Mechanical movement with running work and striking mechanism on full and half hours on a gong. Month and date indicator linked to the movement, the movement runs and strikes, some adjustment is necessary.
