Athlete's head from Greek original. Carrara marble sculpture, neo-classical style, late 19th century. With its wonderful proportions, this sculpture is a beautiful example of classic Italian sculpture. Good condition in its original patina, only an old restoration on one ear, as you can see in the picture. Purchased by my father in the postwar period, in antiques context, ideal as decorative object in a living room. Height: approx 30 cm Weight: 16 kg.
