Louis XVI walnut folding top desk of Italian origin (Emilia Romagna), made in ca. 1770. The desk has a folding top in the upper part and wide space on the inside. A piece of the interior, once moved, hides a secret compartment (see photos no. 14 e no. 15). In the lower part there are three small drawers (of which the central one is fake) and a wide drawer. On the sides of the folding top there are two extractable shelves that allow the maintenance of the folding top itself. There are two original keys: one is only for the folding top and the other is only for the drawers.
