Very rare throne, and on of two manufactured chairs, presented at the Werkbund-exhibition Cologne in 1914. The image displayed in "Interieur 1914, Deutsche Werkkunst, page 37", shows The Werkbund exhibition 1914 with two chairs such as the one in the WOKA collection and two chairs with a different back of the chair. The original covering was a colourful woven fabric with geometric ornaments. Heinrich Kathrein was a pupil of Josef Hoffmann.
