Beautiful 18th century Comtoise with an arched dial and rooster casting with a medallion with the three French lilies.Clock strikes a bell every full and half hour, with repetition strike every full hour, the half hours are struck via forced strike of the running movement.The case features beautiful flat doors and back plate and beautiful, slim, hand-sawn steel hands.The movement is fitted with wooden winding spools, steel switch wheel, steel hour wheel and a steel winding wing, which is customary for clocks from this period.The clock was full restored and cleaned; the clock was also fitted with new strings,old weights and an old wire pendulum with a lead weight.The original dial is undamaged, with the exception of a small restoration and a few hairline cracks.This clock runs and strikes as it should!Clock comes complete with bracket and key. Measurements of the clock case:Height: 26.5 cm.Width: 24 cm.Depth: 14 cm.Height, including casting: 40 cm.Length of the pendulum: 133 cm.The photos are part of the description.Clock can be shipped, well-packaged and insured, but pick-up in Almelo or Albergen (the Netherlands) is preferred.
