Wonderful church fountain basin in Carrara Calacatta marble, with a beautiful open-mouthed fish carved on the front. It dates back to 1900 circa and comes from an antique church in Venice. This item is composed of two parts, both intact, as shown in the pictures. Please note the ribbed decoration under the basin, obtained by sculpting and working the marble by hand. The fish has even a greater value, because it was made with great skill and excellent workmanship, that add value and prestige to the fountain.
