This is a pair of antique coloured lithographic prints entitled 'Snookered' and 'Left', after Lance Thackeray dating from circa 1910. The pair of prints mounted within oak frames with applied snooker cue and ball decoration and applied ivorine plaques is inscribed "Snookered" and "Left". The prints are initialed LT and are signed and numbered set 45 on the mounts. They would make an ideal present for any snooker or billiards player and instantly enhance your snooker room. He was best known for his postcard designs and was a leading exponent of the 'Write Away' series. His work was exhibited at the Paris Motor Show 1905, the Leicester Galleries in 1908, the Fine art Society in 1910 and Walker's Galleries in 1913. He was a member of Savage and Arts Clubs in London and the Turf club of Cairo.
