This is a delightful oil on canvas 19th Century French School painting entitled "Lady with Doves". The painting depicts an aristocratic lady dressed in her finery with a dove perched on one hand while she feeds some doves with the other. The painting is displayed in it's beautiful original giltwood frame which makes it even grander. Provenance: Formerly part of the furnishings at Chateau de Villers-Helon, a castle originally built as a fortress in 1135 by Monseigneur Helon and located 118 kms North East of Paris.
