The bookcase has a nicely shaped top with two decorated paneled doors below opening to reveal a fitted interior with various drawers, pigeon holes and shelves. Below this is the bureau, with a decorated fall opening to display a fully fitted interior with shaped drawers, pigeon holes and a cupboard, all with chinoiserie decoration. The fall has been re-leathered with gold tooling. The bureau bookcase stands on nice bun feet. This piece has been fully restored to a very high standard and remains in good condition for its age. All of the drawers are oak lined. This item needs to be seen to be truly appreciated and would be a talking point in any home. Comes complete with keys.
