A very rare Goyard shoe trunk dating to the early part of the 20th century, circa 1900/1910\. Over recent years the brand has been relaunched and has taken the world of fashion by storm. The original E. Goyard firm was a trunk maker which rivalled LV and the trunks it made at the time ooze the same quality and finesse as its (now) more famous competitor. Today its trunks are revered as they weren't made in vast quantities and even fewer have lasted to this day in good condition. Rarer still are trunks like this shoe trunk complete with its original trays. With its famous chevron canvas, lozine trim and brass fittings,this trunk makes for an ideal investment piece for any collector and perfect to embellish any home.

Lid has a slight overbite which needs attention when closing, otherwise in very good condition.
