Antique early-20th Century French Art Deco gem set platinum vanity case, cartouche shaped, set with a platinum hinge and lock, set with diamonds and sapphires. Inside two lidded compartment and a lid set a hinged mirror, revealing a cigarette holder. Unmarked, the inside mounts made of gilt metal, the box dates to 1920-25 and is a stunning example of the early Art Deco pieces.
