DESCRIPTION

Antique early-19th Century Swiss 18k gold etui case, of tapering octagonal form, all sides of the case have beautiful and crisp engine turned decoration and applied with hand engraved floral bands.
Hallmarked inside with double marks (unknown to me), acid test shows 750 standard, the design is topically Swiss and the piece dates to the early part of the 19th century.
