### DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century German solid silver and cut glass extremely decorative wine claret jug, of massive size, cut-glass body mounted with a silver collar profusely chased in the Rococo style, with scrolling foliage and flowers, scroll handle, parcel gilt interior, the lid is applied with a decorative finial.

Hallmarked with maker's mark NS (unknown), also bearing Austrian import marks (A).
